IT IS FINISHED

The work of Christ is complete.

The debt has been paid. The victory has been won. Discover the freedom, forgiveness, joy, and peace of living in the grace of Jesus Christ.

What Does “It Is Finished” Mean?

At the cross, Jesus declared that the work He came to accomplish had been completed.

“It is finished.”

The Greek word recorded in John 19:30 is tetelestai—something brought to completion, fully accomplished.

The perfect life had been lived. The sacrifice had been offered. The price for sin had been paid.

Our salvation rests upon the completed work of Jesus Christ.

Grace Changes Everything

Grace is not merely a theological word. It changes how we understand God, ourselves, our past, and our future.

Loved A love greater than our failures.
Forgiven We need not remain chained to yesterday.
Free Christ has already purchased what we could never earn.
Growing Grace changes our hearts and draws us toward Christ.
Hopeful Because Jesus lives, His people have hope.

A MESSAGE FROM MICHAEL SAUNDERS

Jesus Christ has done everything necessary for our salvation.

“Our hope cannot be found in what we have done—or failed to do. Our hope is Jesus Christ.”

After a lifetime of pastoral ministry, Bible teaching, and theological study, one truth has become increasingly precious to me:

His life was sufficient.
His sacrifice was sufficient.
His blood was sufficient.
His grace is sufficient.

— Rev. Dr. G. Michael Saunders, Sr.
